Roma stereotype in Poland and Spain. Opinion survey on ethnic group

W pracy zagłębiłam temat pojęcia stereotypu, jak i również zagadnienie postrzegania Romów w Polsce i w Hiszpanii. W pierwszym rozdziale zawarte są zagadnienia wprowadzające do tematyki pracy, czyli samo pojęcie stereotypu w odniesieniu kulturowym, etymologia oraz znaczenie etnonimów, opis grup Romów. W rozdziale II opisana jest historia Romów w Hiszpanii i w Polsce. W rozdziale IV starałam się opisać ogólną sytuacje Romów w wybranych krajach w ujęciu ogólnej sytuacji społecznej oraz jakie prowadzone są projekty. W metodologii opisane są dwie strategie badawcze. Badania zostały przeprowadzone za pomocą narzędzia badawczego - ankiety, na grupie studentów z Polski i Hiszpanii. Za pomocą ankiety starałam się porównać jak mniejszość Romska jest postrzegana przez wcześniej wymienione grupy. Sytuacja Romów w Polsce i w Hiszpanii różni się zasadniczo, inne uwarunkowania etniczne oraz historyczne w obu państwach mają wpływ na postrzeganie Romów w dzisiejszych czasach, co było interesujące podczas pisania pracy.e.

In my work I have explored the topic of the concept of stereotype as well as the issue of perception of the Roma in Poland and Spain. The first chapter contains introductory issues to the topic of work. The concept of stereotype in cultural relation, etymology and the meaning of ethnonyms, description of Roma groups. Chapter II describes the history of the Roma in Spain and Poland. In Chapter IV, I tried to describe the general situation of the Roma in selected countries in terms of the general social situation and what projects are being carried out. The methodology describes two research strategies. The research was conducted using a research tool - a survey on a group of students from Poland and Spain. Using a survey I tried to compare how the Roma minority is perceived by the groups mentioned above. The situation of the Roma in Poland and Spain is fundamentally different, other ethnic and historical conditions in both countries have an impact on the perception of Roma today, which was interesting when writing the thesis.
