My friends' war. Reporter as a confidant

Niniejsza praca składa się z dwóch części. Pierwszą z nich jest reportaż pt. „Wojna moich przyjaciół”, która skupia się wydarzeniach z lutego 2022 roku, kiedy to rozpoczęła się rosyjska inwazja na Ukrainę. Na reportaż składają się osobiste wspomnienia autorki związane z Ukrainą, ale także relacje osób, które stamtąd pochodzą i przeżyły pierwsze dni wojny. Bo-haterkami pracy są kobiety, które w swoich wypowiedziach przedstawiają niezwykle empa-tyczną i nową perspektywę konfliktu na wschodzie. Część kreatywna wzbogacona jest rów-nież o treści nagłówków artykułów ukazujących się w tamtym okresie w polskich mediach, a także krótkie informacje dotyczące wojny. Druga część pracy ma charakter teoretyczno-krytyczny. Autorka poświęca obszerny fragment teorii reportażu, tłumacząc problemy z jego zdefiniowaniem, nakreślając jego pochodzenie i rozwój w ciągu ostatniego stulecia. Ponadto tłumaczy różnice pomiędzy reportażem amerykańskim oraz polskim, a także wskazuje na jego powiązania zarówno z dziennikarstwem, jak i z literaturą. Ostatni fragment pracy poświęcony jest procesowi twórczemu autorki, gdzie w sposób osobisty opisuje historię powstawania jej dzieła non fiction, a także poddaje je dogłębnej analizie.

This work consists of two parts. The first is a reportage entitled "My friends' war", which focuses on the events of February 2022, when the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. The reportage consists of the author's personal memories related to Ukraine, but also accounts of people who come from there and survived the first days of the war. The protagonists of the work are women who in their statements present an extremely empathetic and new perspective on the conflict in the east. The creative part is also enriched with the headlines of articles appearing in the Polish media at that time, as well as short information about the war. The second part of the work is theoretical and critical in nature. The author devotes an extensive fragment of the theory of reportage, explaining the problems with defining it, outlining its origin and development over the last century. In addition, he explains the differences between American and Polish reportage, and points to its connections with both journalism and litera-ture. The last fragment of the work is devoted to the author's creative process, where she per-sonally describes the history of the creation of her non fiction work, as well as subjects it to an in-depth analysis.
