Morphology and properties of soils developed from tuffs in the Garbatka massif (Góry Kamienne)

Presented thesis describes the natural environment of the area of researches (Garbatka massif in Góry Suche in Góry Kamienne), the methods which were used in the analysis, the results, the discussion and the conclusions. The fieldwork and the laboratory tests study morphology and characteristics of soils of chosen mountain. They analyze the characteristics of the geological substrate and the influence of the geological substrate on basic soil properties, the process of soil formation and the impact of the morphology and the altitude on the specificity of soils. There are featured the hypothesis of the gravity displacement of the cover as well.

Niniejsza praca opisuje środowisko geograficzne obszaru badań (masyw Garbatka w Górach Suchych w Górach Kamiennych), metody jakie zastosowano w analizach, ich wyniki, dyskusję i wnioski. Przeprowadzone badania terenowe i laboratoryjne studiują morfologię i właściwości gleb w wybranym masywie. Analizują właściwości podłoża geologicznego oraz jego wpływ na podstawowe cechy wybranych gleb i zachodzące tam procesy glebotwórcze, a także oddziaływanie morfologii i wysokości bezwzględnej na specyfikę gleb. Przedstawiona jest także hipoteza o grawitacyjnym przemieszczeniu form stokowych na Garbatce.
