Niniejsza praca ma na celu przedstawienie analizy i interpretacji reportażu Wojciecha Tochmana Dzisiaj narysujemy śmierć, dotyczącego ludobójstwa w Rwandzie. Autorkę interesować będzie odpowiedź Tochmana na tak trudną sytuację: jakich reporter używa narzędzi do opisu traumy? Dlaczego świadectwa ocalonych z ludobójstwa w Rwandzie mają dla niego tak wielką wagę? Skąd u niego konieczność, poczucie obowiązku zbierania świadectw ocalonych? Jakie strategie obiera, żeby je zdobyć i co dostaje w zamian? Czy działania reportera można uznać za terapię?
This thesis aims to present an analysis and interpretation of Wojciech Tochman’s reportage - We are Going to Draw Death - about genocide in Rwanda. The author will consider Tochman's reply on such a difficult situation: how does the reporter describe the trauma? Why testimonies from the genocide in Rwanda do have such a great importance for him? Why he has a necessity, an obligation of collecting testimonies? How does he work to gain those testimonies and what does he get in exchange? Is it possible to assent the impact of the reporter on the rescued as a therapy?
