Abstract in English
The exercise proposed within the article involves the practical utilization of native speakers as represented by the recordings provided for language textbooks. It involves imitating the speaker's pronunciation with the simultaneous recording of both - the native speaker's and one's own voice. The aim of the exercise is to increase the linguistic awareness of the learner and to improve those shortfalls in their pronunciation. In addition, reference is made to Internet websites and programs which may turn out to be of assistance while working on one's pronunciation.
