Images of fallen women from the novels of Fyodor Dostoevsky (Sonia - Nastasia).

Celem mojej pracy jest ukazanie w jaki sposób Fiodor Dostojewski kreuje obrazy kobiet upadłych i jaka jest geneza tej problematyki. Ukazując historię życia bohaterek Zbrodni i kary oraz Idioty Dostojewski zwraca uwagę na: ogrom zła, cierpienia, zakłamania w ówczesnym świecie. Prezentuje upadek moralności ludzi, których ofiarami stała się Sonia oraz Nastazja. Dostojewski zwraca również uwagę, jak wiele trudności, przeszkód i zła na swojej drodze musi pokonać dobro. Pierwszy rozdział niniejszej pracy poświęcony został bohaterce Zbrodni i kary. Natomiast drugi rozdział pracy poświęciłam rozważaniom na temat bohaterki powieści Idiota. Jednak problem kobiet, szczególnie kobiet skrzywdzonych, przewija się przez całe dzieło Dostojewskiego.

The aim of my thesis is show how Fyodor Dostoevsky creates images of the fallen women and what is the origin of the problem. In presenting the life story of the heroines of The Crime and Punishment and The Idiot Dostoevsky draws attention to: the enormity of evil, suffering, deception in the contemporary world. He presents moral decay, whose victims became Sonia and Nastasia. Dostoevsky also notes how many difficulties, obstacles and evil in its path must overcome goodness hidden in man. Fyodor Dostoevsky presents "fallen women" who are seemingly devoid of morality. The fact is that they are not respected and rejected by seemingly decent, the then society. "The Fall" - which is the result of involuntary participation of evil in the lives of women - means for heroines extraordinary humiliation and suffering. They are different reactions to this suffering and its consequences in the history of women's lives.The first chapter of this thesis was devoted to the heroine of The Crime and Punishment and the second chapter devoted to reflection on the heroine of the novel The Idiot. But the problem of women, particularly women who have been wronged, scrolls through all the work of Dostoevsky.
