Political and legal reforms in Russia during the reign of Peter I

Praca magisterska poświęcona została charakterystyce panowania Piotra I w Rosji i przeprowadzonym przez niego reformom ustrojowo-prawnym. Zagadnienie to omówione zostało na szerokim tle przeobrażeń ustrojowych i społecznych w Rosji w XVII i XVIII w, które prowadziły do powstania państwa absolutnego w Rosji. W szczególności przedstawiono reformy administracji centralnej i lokalnej, zmiany w prawie oraz reorganizację sadownictwa. Przeprowadzone reformy przyczyniły się do rozwoju państwa rosyjskiego oraz wzrostu jego znaczenia na arenie międzynarodowej.

The master's thesis was devoted to the characteristics of the reign of Peter I in Russia and the reforms of the system and law carried out by him. This issue was discussed against a broad background of political and social transformations in Russia in the 17th and 18th centuries, which led to the creation of an absolute state in Russia. In particular, reforms of central and local administration, changes in law and reorganization of fruit growing were presented.The reforms carried out contributed to the development of the Russian state and the increase of its importance in the international arena.
