Non-violence ethics based on thoughts of Mahatma Gondhi

W artykule szczegółowo przedstawione zostały najważniejsze etyczne założenia programu walki politycznej hinduskiego myśliciela i męża stanu Mahatmy Gandhiego, w odniesieniu do partykularnych przykładów z historii ruchu "non-violence". Zarysowano również inspiracje, z jakich czerpał hinduski myśliciel, a także zostali wskazani kontynuatorzy jego ideałów, jak np. Gene Sharp, w wymiarze praktycznym i teoretycznym. Etyka niezłomności Gandhiego może stanowić przykład zwycięstwa ethosu miłosierdzia i ofiarności nad cynizmem, interesownością i bezwzględnością, mocy ducha nad gwałtem i wyzyskiem.

The article presents in detail the most important assumptions of the program of political struggle of hindu thinker and statesman Mahatma Gandhi concerning particular examples from the history of the non-violence movement. It also includes an outline of inspitarions which Gandhi drew from. It also points at contemporary continuers of his ideas in practical and theoretical dimensions such as Gene Sharp. The ethics of Gandhi can be an example of victory of the ethos of mercifulness over cynicism, selfishness and ruthlessness, power of the spirit over abuse and exploitation.
