Ukazano także zróżnicowane podejście Ukrainy do współpracy z Zachodem i Wschodem, a szczególną uwagę poświęcono wpływowi Rosji na polityczne decyzje Ukrainy dotyczące integracji z Europą.Rozdział drugi koncentruje się na instytucjonalnych uwarunkowaniach procesu integracji, omawiając rolę najważniejszych organów państwowych, takich jak prezydent, rząd i parlament, oraz analizując strategiczne dokumenty polityki zagranicznej Ukrainy w kontekście zbliżenia z UE.W trzecim rozdziale przedstawiono kluczowe wydarzenia polityczne, które miały decydujący wpływ na międzynarodową politykę Ukrainy, takie jak Pomarańczowa Rewolucja, aneksja Krymu oraz zmiany władzy i ich wpływ na relacje z UE.Ostatni rozdział skupia się na współczesnych wyzwaniach i szansach Ukrainy w procesie eurointegracji, szczególnie w kontekście trwającego konfliktu z Rosją oraz wsparcia, jakie kraj ten otrzymuje od Unii Europejskiej. Analizowane są również perspektywy pełnego członkostwa Ukrainy w UE.W zakończeniu potwierdzono hipotezę, że proces integracji Ukrainy z Unią Europejską był kształtowany zarówno przez wydarzenia polityczne, jak i instytucjonalne działania władz, a współczesna sytuacja geopolityczna ma kluczowe znaczenie dla przyszłości tego procesu.

This master's thesis titled "Ukraine in the Process of Integration with the European Union: 2004-2024" analyzes the key political, economic, and institutional aspects of Ukraine's pursuit of integration with the European Union over two decades. The work focuses on the complex processes that have taken place from the Orange Revolution in 2004, through the events surrounding the Revolution of Dignity, to the contemporary efforts amid the full-scale war with Russia.The first chapter presents the historical background and the political-economic transformations that led to the formation of an independent Ukraine following the collapse of the Soviet Union. It also highlights Ukraine's varied approach to cooperation with the West and the East, paying special attention to Russia's influence on Ukraine's political decisions concerning European integration.The second chapter focuses on the institutional framework of the integration process, discussing the roles of key state bodies such as the president, government, and parliament. It also examines strategic foreign policy documents in the context of Ukraine's alignment with the EU.The third chapter outlines significant political events that have decisively influenced Ukraine's international policies, such as the Orange Revolution, the annexation of Crimea, and changes in leadership, and their impact on relations with the EU.The final chapter addresses the contemporary challenges and opportunities Ukraine faces in the process of European integration, particularly in the context of the ongoing conflict with Russia and the support the country receives from the European Union. It also explores the prospects for Ukraine’s full EU membership.In conclusion, the hypothesis is confirmed that Ukraine's integration process with the European Union has been shaped by both political events and institutional actions of the government, and that the current geopolitical situation is critical for the future of this process.
