The situation of migrants in Cracov

Niniejsza praca licencjacka porusza temat sytuacji migrantów w Polsce, a w szczególności w Krakowie. Na samym początku opisana zostaje teoria migracji. Nakreślony zostaje temat imigracji, a także emigracji na terenie Polski. Przedstawione zostały argumenty przemawiające za coraz większą popularnością Krakowa, nie tylko pod względem mieszkaniowym, ale także turystycznym. W jednym z rozdziałów Kraków zostaje porównany do Katowic w odniesieniu do skali migracji, jak i sytuacji na rynku pracy. Dodatkowo, w pracy został ujęty temat napływu imigrantów z Ukrainy z powodu najechania wojsk rosyjskich na ten kraj.

This bachelor thesis deals with the situation of migrants in Poland, in particular in Krakow. At the very beginning, the theory of migration is described. The topic of immigration and emigration in Poland is outlined. Arguments were presented in favor of the increasing popularity of Krakow, not only in terms of housing, but also in terms of tourism. In one of the chapters, Krakow is compared to Katowice with regard to the scale of migration and the situation on the labor market. Additionally, the work covers the issue of the influx of immigrants from Ukraine due to the invasion of the country by Russian troops.
