Image of old age among pupils and students

Tematem mojej pracy magisterskiej jest obraz starości wśród gimnazjalistów i studentów. Pomysł ten pojawił się z powodu moich osobistych doświadczeń. Uważam, że młodzi ludzie mają różne postawy wobec seniorów. Stąd myśl by zbadać, co młodzi ludzie sądzą o starszych osobach, jakie czynniki decydują o wizerunku starości wśród młodzieży.Po pojawieniu się pomysłu przestudiowałam literaturę. Pierwszy rozdział zawiera teorię: o naukach zajmujących się starością i starzeniem się, przedstawiłam kilka sposobów ustalenia okresu ramowego starości w życiu człowieka, opisałam czynniki powodujące przedłużenie ludzkiego życia, zmiany psychologiczne i biologiczne. Opisałam także aspekt społeczny i rodzinny życia starego człowieka. W ostatnim podrozdziale dotarłam do wyników badań, które zostały przeprowadzone wśród młodych ludzi o wizerunku ludzi starszych w celu porównania z moimi wnioskami z badań.Drugi rozdział to metodologia badań. Na początku przedstawiłam przedmiot badań, cel badań, problemu szczegółowe, hipotezy, zmienne, wskaźniki, metody, narzędzie i scharakteryzowałam respondentów, przebieg badania.Trzeci rozdział zawiera opis i analizę badań: sytuację rodzinną respondentów, relacje międzypokoleniowe, skojarzenia uczniów i studentów ze starością, różnice i podobieństwa w postrzeganiu starości z rozróżnieniem na: kierunek studiów, wiek, miejsce pochodzenia, posiadanie żyjących dziadków. W analizie próbowałam wyjaśnić przyczynę tych wyników, wyjaśnić zależności między zmiennymi oraz wynikami badania.

The theme of my thesis is the image of old age among students. The idea of the subject appeared because of my personal experience. I believe that young people have different attitudes toward older people. Hence the idea to explore what young people think about elderly, the factors that determine the image of old age among the youth.After the appearance of idea of the thesis I studied the literature. The first chapter a theory of science dealing with old age and aging, are a few ways to determine the frame of old age in a person's life, I described the aspect of social and family life of old man. In the last section I got results of studies that have been conducted among young people about the image of the elderly in order to compare them to my conlusions from the study.The second part is the research methodology. At first I introduced the subject of study, the purpose of research, problems of specific hypotheses, variables, indicators, methods, tools, and characterized the respondents of the study.The third chapter contains a description and analysis of research: the family situation of the respondents, intergenerational relation, associations of students with old age, the differences in the perception of old age and the similarities, the differences in associations with old age, distinguishing between: a field of study, place relationships between variables and results of the study.
