Political position of Prime Minister of Poland

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie pozycji ustrojowej Prezesa Rady Ministrów w Polsce. Starano się tego dokonać przez scharakteryzowanie statusu prawnoustrojowego premiera oraz analizę jego funkcji. Skoncentrowano uwagę na jego roli w kształtowaniu rządu oraz dokonywaniu zmian w tym składzie, a także jego wpływ na trwałość rządu. Następnie poddano analizie pozycję Prezesa Rady Ministrów w samej Radzie Ministrów rozważając takie jego kompetencje jak reprezentowanie Rady Ministrów, kierowanie pracami Rady Ministrów i określania sposobów jej wykonywania, koordynacji i kontroli pracy członków Rady Ministrów.

The purpose of the study is to present the political position of the Prime Minister of Poland. An attempt was to describe the legal status of the Prime Minister and analyse his functions. Attention was focused on its role in shaping the government and making changes in its composition, as well as its impact on the stability of the government. Then, the position of Prime Minister in the Council of Ministers was analysed by considering such competences as his representation and directing the work of Council of Ministers, determining the methods of its implementation, coordination and control of the work of ministers.
