Celem pracy było przedstawienie sytuacji prawnej osób zaginionych w kontekście zagadnień cywilnoprawnych. Rozpatrzone zostały takie aspekty, jak: zarządzanie majątkiem osoby zaginionej, stosunki zobowiązaniowe z jej udziałem, a także sytuacja prawna rodziny osoby zaginionej. Omówiona została instytucja kuratora "osoby nieznanej z miejsca pobytu" - na podstawie art. 184 KRiO. Podsumowanie pracy stanowi omówienie kwestii związanych z uznaniem osoby zaginionej za zmarłą.
The purpose of the work was to present the legal status of missing persons and their families in the context of civil law issues. Issues such as: management of the missing person's property, liability relations with her participation, as well as the legal situation of the missing person's family were considered. The institution of the curator of "a person unknown from the place of stay" was discussed - pursuant to art. 184 KRiO. The summary of the work is a discussion of issues related to the recognition of a missing person as a deceased.
