The problem of corruption in football. Case study: Poland

Celem pracy jest analiza zjawiska korupcji, działania antykorupcyjne polskich służb do tego przeznaczonych i instytucji państwowych, a także zbadanie korupcji w polskiej piłce nożnej na przykładzie największej afery korupcyjnej w polskim futbolu jakim była afera "gangu Fryzjera". Przy pisaniu pracy zostały książki, literatura zwarta, ustawyi uchwały, raporty instytucji państwowych, artykuły prasowe, czasopisma, a także strony internetowe. Praca jest pisana metodą analityczną. Na podstawie źródeł udaje się wyjaśnić zjawisko korupcji, korupcji sportowej, podać ich definicję, a także rozróżnić typy i rodzaje, do tego ich określić przyczyny i skutki. Zostały opisane działania Polski na rzecz zwalczania korupcji, jak również metody działania polskich służb zajmujących się przeciwdziałaniem korupcji, czyli Policji, Centralnego Biura Antykorupcyjnego i Agencji Bezpieczeństwa Wewnętrznego. Opisany został cały proceder afery największej korupcyjnej w polskim futbolu. Przybliżona została postać Ryszarda Forbricha, a także sposób ustawiania meczów na przykładach konkretnych meczów. W pracy zostały wymienione osoby oskarżone i skazane za przestępstwo korupcji podczas afery "gangu Fryzjera" w procesie Arki Gdynia.

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze the phenomenon of corruption, anti-corruption activities of Polish services for this purpose and state institutions, and to investigate corruption in Polish football on the example of the largest corruption scandal in Polish football which was the scandal of the "Fryzjer's gang". While writing the book, there were books, compact literature, and acts and resolutions, reports of state institutions, press articles, magazines as well as websites. The bachelor thesis is written using the analytical method. On the basis of sources, it is possible to explain the phenomenonof corruption, sports corruption, give their definition, and to distinguish types and sorts,to determine their causes and effects. The activities of Poland to counteract corruptionas well as the methods of operation of Polish anti-corruption services, the Police, the Central Anticorruption Bureau and the Internal Security Agency, have been described. The whole procedure of the biggest corruption scandal in Polish football has been described. The figure of Ryszard Forbrich was approximated, as well as the way of setting matches on examples of specific matches. The bachelor thesis lists people accused and convicted ofa crime of corruption during the "Fryzjer's gang" process in the Arka Gdynia process.
