Przyczyny słabości partii lewicowych w japońskiej kulturze politycznej

Niniejsza praca analizuje kulturę polityczną Japonii, która wyznacza warunki dla orientacji politycznej i pomaga w opisaniu słabej pozycji ugrupowań lewicowych.Przez dziesięciolecia Japonia znajdowała się pod rządami jednej partii konserwatywnej, Partii Liberalno-Demokratycznej ( PLD), z wyjątkiem dwóch rządów opozycji. Sugeruje to, że Japonia jest zorientowana raczej przez siły konserwatywne niż postępowe. Pomimo spadku poparcia spowodowanego skandalami i niepowodzeniami w ostatnich latach, PLD pozostaje silna w polityce. Należy przyznać, że to między innymi siła instytucjonalna i wyborcza PLD są jednymi z najważniejszych przyczyn słabości grup lewicowych, jednak czy czynniki kulturowe mogą odgrywać rolę w determinowaniu krajobrazu politycznego Japonii faworyzującego siły konserwatywne? Do analizy czynników kulturowych w niniejszej pracy wykorzystano dane pochodzące z badań i ankiet dotyczących wartości wyznawanych przez członków społeczeństwa. Wyniki wskazują, że wartości kulturowe mogą być niekorzystne dla rozwoju politycznego, a Japonia nadal wyznaje tradycyjne wartości, które są sprzeczne z wartościami lewicy. Chociaż niedawna tendencja sugeruje pozytywną zmianę wartości, warunki kulturowe w Japonii wskazują, że w najbliższej przyszłości krajobraz polityczny- z PLD u władzy, nie zmieni się.

This thesis analyzes the Political culture of Japan, which sets out the conditions for the political orientation and helps describe the weak positions of the Left groups in Japan. For decades, Japan has been under the rule of a single conservative party, the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) except for two times of governance by the opposition. It suggests that Japan is oriented by conservative forces rather than progressive forces. Despite the decline in support due to scandals and failures in recent years, the LDP remains strong in politics. While it should be acknowledged that among others, the institutional and electoral strength of the LDP is one of the greatest causes for the irrelevance of the Left groups, can the cultural factors play a role in determining the political landscape of Japan to favor the conservative forces? To analyze the cultural factors, this thesis uses data based on research and surveys on the values of members of society. As a result, it indicates that cultural values may be unfavorable for political development, and in comparison, Japan still has traditional values that oppose the Left values. Although the recent trend suggests a positive transition in values, cultural conditions in Japan predict that there will be no change in the political landscape- with the rule of the LDP, shortly.
