Korean Unification. Common of ideas - difference of business.

Praca niniejsza stanowi próbę odpowiedzi na pytania czy i kiedy zniknie granica między Koreą Północną a Koreą Południową, jaki scenariusz może do tego doprowadzić i jakie korzyści bądź straty proces ten przyniesie dla krajów Półwyspu Koreańskiego. Analizę rozpoczęłam przedstawiając położenie geograficzne i historię Półwyspu Koreańskiego od drugiej połowy XIX wieku do roku 2000. W roku tym nastąpił przełom w rozmowach zjednoczeniowych, tzn. podpisanie postanowień „słonecznej polityki“, mającej wprowadzić dialog zjednoczeniowy na nowe tory. W następnej części pracy skupiłam się na analizie najnowszej historii, uwarunkowań legitymizacji władzy w Korei Północnej, a także starałam się pokazać perspektywy pozostałych państw, Stanów Zjednoczonych, Rosji, Chin i Japonii, które mają moc decyzyjną i mają aspiracje do kontynuowania i wzmacniania wpływów na Półwyspie. W ostatnim rozdziale podjęłam próbę analizy możliwych scenariuszy zjednoczenia Korei, wraz z opisem konsekwencji, które taki ruch może wykreować.

This paper attempts to answer the questions whether and when the border between North and South Korea will disappear, what script can do that and what benefits or losses of this process will bring to the countries of the Korean Peninsula. The analysis began by presenting the geographical location and history of the Korean Peninsula since the second half of the nineteenth century to 2000.In that year there was a breakthrough in talks unification - signing of the provisions of the "sunshine policy" designed to introduce unification dialogue into the new directions. In the next part of this work I focused on the analysis of recent history, conditions of legitimacy of power in North Korea, and also tried to show the perspective of other countries: the United States, Russia, China and Japan, which have the power of decision and have aspirations to strength the influence on the Peninsula. The last chapter has attempted to analyze possible scenarios for the unification of Korea, together with a description of the consequences that such a move could create.
