2007 real estate crisis against a background of a Central Banking actions in Poland and the United States supervised

Bankowość centralna pełni ważną rolę w gospodarce każdego kraju na świecie, a kryzysy finansowe są zjawiskiem, które dotykają każdego człowieka w mniejszym lub większym stopniu.Rozdział pierwszy opisuje historię powstawania bankowości na świecie i nierozerwalnie z nią związaną historię powstawania pieniądza od momentu wymiany do obecnej formy.W rozdziale drugim opisano historię powstania Systemu Rezerwy Federalnej, jej sposób prowadzenia polityki pieniężnej oraz narzędzia jakimi się posługuje.Analogicznie, w rozdziale trzecim opisane zostały powyższe zagadnienia w odniesieniu do Narodowego Banku Polskiego.Rozdział czwarty skupia się na przyczynach wybuchu kryzysu na rynku nieruchomości w Stanach Zjednoczonych w latach 2007-2008 oraz jego przebiegu w USA i Polsce. Opisane zostały również działania podjęte w tym okresie przez Fed oraz NBP, a także skutki jakie ten kryzys miał dla gospodarki Polski i Stanów Zjednoczonych.

Central banking plays a very important role for most country economies in the world, and financial crises are phenomena that concerns, to a greater or lesser extent, every human being.First chapter describes two closely related issues as the formation of banking system in the world and the origin of the money with all its transformations starting from barter-like method until its present-day form.Chapter two focuses on the establishment of the Federal Reserve System, its manner of shaping the monetary policy and instruments it uses for this purpose. Similarly to Fed’s presentation in the second chapter, in the third chapter the National Bank of Poland is described.Chapter four concentrates on the outbreak of the crisis on the real estate market in the United states in 2007-2008, its causes and how the crisis ran in the USA and Poland. Furthermore this chapter presents actions that were undertaken by FED and NBP in order to stop the crisis as well as effects of this phenomena on country economies as far as the USA and Poland are concerned.
