Praca koncentruje się na analizie stroju lachowskiego i jego roli w kształtowaniu tożsamości regionalnej mieszkańców Sądecczyzny. Celem pracy było zbadanie, w jaki sposób tradycyjne elementy stroju wpływają na identyfikację Lachów Sądeckich. Przeprowadzono szczegółową analizę źródeł historycznych oraz współczesnych ubiorów, które są używane podczas ceremonii religijnych i ważnych wydarzeń rodzinnych. Badania obejmowały także współczesne postrzeganie i funkcje stroju lachowskiego.
The thesis focuses on the analysis of the Lachy Sądecke folk costume and its role in shaping the regional identity of the inhabitants of Sądecczyzna region. The aim of the study was to examine how traditional elements of clothing influence the Lachy Sądeckie community. A detailed analysis of historical sources and contemporary garments, which are used during religious ceremonies and important family events, was conducted. The research also included the contemporary perception and functions of the Lachy Sądeckie folk costume.
