wsparcie społeczne, reumatoidalne zapalenie stawów.
social support, rheumatoid arthritis.
Do takiego rodzaju zasobów należy wsparcie społeczne. Najniższy wynik wynosił 40 punktów, a najwyższy 186 punktów. Średnia wartość wsparcia informacyjnego wśród uczestników badania wynosiła 22,16%, emocjonalnego – 22,57%, a instrumentalnego – 22,47%.

The study included 146 adults (38 men and 108 women) diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Results: The average value of social support in the study group was 91.8 points (with a possible range of 40 to 200 points), which indicates a low level of support among respondents. The lowest score was 40 points, while the highest was 186 points. The average value of informational support among the study participants was 22,16%, emotional support – 22,57%, instrumental support – 22,47%. The highest level of support received by the respondents turned out to b evaluative support (23,16%).Conclusions: Patients with rheumatoid arthritis represent low levels of social support. The study did not show any relationship between the level of social support and the intensity of joint pain and physical activity in patients with RA. RA patients with higher levels of social support more often experienced difficulties in performing daily activities. The duration od the disease does not affect the level of social support in patients with RA. There was no relationship between age, gender, marital status or professional status and the level of social support in people with RA, but the place of living did show an affect on its levels.
