Szaleństwo Orlanda w poemacie Ariosta i w adaptacji RonconiegoCelem niniejszej pracy jest analiza scen szaleństwa Orlanda obecnych w adaptacji telewizyjnej poematu Orland Szalony, dokonanej przez Lukę Ronconiego oraz porównanie ich z oryginałem literackim autorstwa Ludovica Ariosta przy użyciu teorii adaptacji oraz metody komparatystycznej. Praca dzieli się na trzy rozdziały. W pierwszym wyjaśniona zostaje podbudowa teoretyczna teorii adaptacji. W drugim zaprezentowane zostaje tło historyczne i literackie poematu oraz koncepcja szaleństwa. Rozdział trzeci poświęcony jest adaptacji Luki Ronconiego oraz porównaniu obrazu szaleństwa w poemacie i jego wersji telewizyjnej. W konkluzji wyszczególnione zostają cechy szczególne adaptacji oraz podobieństwa i różnice w odniesieniu do oryginału literackiego.

The frenzy of Orlando in the poem of Ariosto and in the homonymous adaptation of RonconiThe aim of this paper is to analyze the scenes of Orlando's madness occurring in the adaptation of Orlando Furioso's for television by Luca Ronconi and to compare them with the literary original authored by Ludovico Ariosto, in accordance with the theory of adaptation and the comparative method. The paper is divided into three chapters. The first one explains the theoretical basis of the theory of adaptation. The second chapter presents the literary and historical background of the poem combined with the concept of madness. Finally the third chapter is devoted to the adaptation of Luca Ronconi and to the comparison of the image of madness in the poem and its television version. The conclusion highlights specific features of adaptation and also similarities and differences in relation to the literary original.

La follia di Orlando nel poema di Ariosto e nell’adattamento di RonconiL’obiettivo di questa tesi è quello di proporre l’analisi delle scene della furia di Orlando presenti nell’adattamento televisivo di Luca Ronconi, ispirato al poema Orlando furioso di Ludovico Ariosto, e il confronto tra il testo letterario originale e la sua versione televisiva: l’analisi e il confronto sono supportati dalla teoria dell’adattamento e dal metodo comparativo. La tesi si divide in tre capitoli: nel primo vengono spiegate le problematiche principali della teoria dell’adattamento. Il secondo è dedicato allo sfondo storico e letterario del poema e al concetto della follia. Il terzo capitolo si concentra su Luca Ronconi, il suo adattamento e il confronto delle scene della follia nella versione televisiva e nel poema di Ariosto. Nelle conclusioni si evidenziano tratti distintivi dell’adattamento, le affinità e le differenze rispetto al testo letterario.
