W niniejszej pracy omawia się Le interviste impossibili (Wywiady niemożliwe), audycję radiową nagraną przez Radio Rai w latach 70., w której słynni włoscy pisarze przeprowadzili wywiady z postaciami historycznymi i literackimi. W pracy dokonano analizy czterech wywiadów napisanych przez Umberta Eco. Teksty te zostały przedstawione jako dzieła, w których wyrażono wrażliwość postmodernistyczną. Le interviste impossibili, podobnie jak inne teksty postmodernistyczne, cechuje hybrydyczność formalna i połączenie gatunków wysokich i niskich, o długiej i krótszej tradycji - ta problematyka została poruszona w pierwszym rozdziale pracy. W kolejnych dwóch rozdziałach zbadano relacje pomiędzy historią i literaturą oraz (postmodernistyczny) stosunek autora wywiadów do prawdy historycznej. Przeanalizowano również dwie funkcje omawianych tekstów: wywiadów, które mają za zadanie bawić-edukując i edukować-bawiąc, biorąc pod uwagę żartobliwy charakter Le interviste impossibili.

In this thesis I talk about Le interviste impossibili (The impossible interviews), a program recorded by Radio Rai in the 70s, in which famous Italian writers interviewed historical and literary characters. The thesis analyzes four interviews written by Umberto Eco. The texts are presented as works in which postmodern sensitivity was expressed. Le interviste impossibili, like many postmodern texts, have a hybrid form and combine different genres, low and high, of a short or longer tradition - these issues are the subject of the first chapter. The following two chapters examine the relationship between history and literature and the (postmodern) relationship of the author with historical truth. I also investigate the two functions of the texts - to delight by teaching and to teach by delighting - taking into consideration the publicist content and the playful character of Le interviste impossibili.

Nella presente tesi si parla de Le interviste impossibili, un programma registrato da Radio Rai negli anni '70, in cui famosi scrittori italiani intervistarono personaggi storici e letterari. Nella tesi vengono analizzate quattro interviste scritte da Umberto Eco. I testi sono presentati come opere in cui è stata espressa la sensibilità postmoderna. Le interviste impossibili, come molti testi postmoderni, hanno una forma ibrida e uniscono diversi generi, bassi ed elevati, di breve o più lunga tradizione - queste problematiche sono oggetto del primo capitolo. Nei due capitoli seguenti viene esaminata la relazione tra storia e letteratura e il rapporto (postmoderno) dell’autore con la verità storica. Si indaga anche sulle due funzioni dei testi - dilettare insegnando e insegnare dilettando - prendendo in considerazione il contenuto pubblicistico e il carattere giocoso de Le interviste impossibili.
