Superstitions regarding pregnancy in Persian and Polish cultures. Comparative analysis.

Praca skupia się na analizie porównawczej przesądów dotyczących ciąży w kulturze perskiej i polskiej. Celem badania jest lepsze zrozumienie podobieństw i różnic w sposobach postrzegania ciąży w obu kulturach w kontekście wiary w przesądy. W pierwszej części pracy wyjaśniono pojęcie przesądu oraz jaki stosunek do przesądów ma islam szyicki. W następnej części zaprezentowano przesądy dotyczące ciąży w kulturze perskiej i polskiej. W trzeciej oraz ostatniej części pracy dokonano analizy, z której wysunięto podobieństwa oraz różnice jakie dzielą obie kultury w kwestii przesądów dotyczących ciąży.

The bachelor's thesis focuses on a comparative analysis of superstitions concerning pregnancy in Persian and Polish cultures. The aim of the research is to gain a better understanding of the similarities and differences in the ways pregnancy is perceived in both cultures within the context of belief in superstitions. The first part of the thesis explains the concept of superstition and discusses the attitude of Shia Islam towards superstitions. The following section presents superstitions related to pregnancy in Persian and Polish cultures. The third and final part of the thesis consists of an analysis that identifies the similarities and differences between the two cultures regarding superstitions concerning pregnancy.
