Mikhail Lermontov's dramas

Diploma work presents Mikhail Lermontov’s dramaturgy. In the first chapter author analyses the most important Russian writer’s drama: ‘The Masquerade’. He analyses origin of the creation of drama, the plot, main characters, artistic values and literary connections. The second chapter presents tragedy ‘The Spaniards’ as it is a talented work of youth dramatist. Similarly as in the first chapter author analyses drama’s literary inspirations, ideas and the place of work in European literature. In the third chapter diploma work author writes about dramas: ‘A Strange Man’, Menschen und Leidenschaften’ and ‘Two brothers’. These dramas have deep autobiographical motives and they show talent and erudition of youth writer. Diploma work as a whole try to describe Mikhail Lermontov’s dramaturgy at the background of 19th century literary and philosophical ideas. Praca dyplomowa jest poświęcona twórczości dramaturgicznej Michała Lermontowa. W pierwszym rozdziale autor pracy analizuje najważniejszy utwór dramaturgiczny rosyjskiego pisarza: Маскарад. Analizuje genezę powstania dzieła, fabułę, postaci głównych bohaterów, walory artystyczne, oraz powiązania literackie. Drugi rozdział pracy został poświęcony utworowi Испанцы, jako reprezentantowi młodzieńczej twórczości Lermontowa. Podobnie jak w pierwszym rozdziale dzieło jest analizowane pod kątem inspiracji literackich, treści ideowych i intertekstualności tragedii. W trzecim rozdziale autor pracy zajmuje się analizą dzieł: Menschen und Leidenschaften, Странный человек, Два брата. Są to utwory nacechowane wątkami autobiograficznymi, w których przejawia się talent i erudycja młodego pisarza. Praca w całości ukazuje twórczość dramatyczną Michała Lermontowa na tle ówczesnych prądów myślowych i literackich.
