Pytania o mechanizm działania, funkcje oraz możliwe zagrożenia wywoływane przez fake newsy preparowane dla rozrywki skonfrontowane zostały z analizą zawartości serwisu "ASZdziennik" - najpopularniejszego w Polsce portalu publikującego otwarcie zmyślone treści. Praca porusza kwestie parodiowanych przez stronę gatunków dziennikarskich, proporcji fikcji i autentyzmu w tekstach, ich aktualności, wartości informacyjnej oraz publicystycznej, a także transparentności całej idei funkcjonowania serwisu.

Fictitious news articles of a satirical nature remain closely related to the fake news phenomenon, frequently teetering on the line that separates these categories. The aim of the present work is an attempt to determine the implications that the combination of two above-mentioned conventions entails for both creators and readers. Questions about the mechanism of action, functions and potential fears concerning entertainment fake news were juxtaposed with the content analysis of the "ASZdziennik" - the most popular Polish website publishing openly fabricated news. The article addresses the matter of journalistic genres parodied by the webpage, truth to fiction proportion characteristic for the analysed texts, their currency, informational and critical values, as well as the transparency of the main idea standing behind the project.
