The mother’s role in „The Story for the Friend” by Halina Poświatowska and „Letters Home” by Sylvia Plath.

Thesis is to present the role of the mother in Poswiatowska's and Plath's selected workss. Due to the nature of the analyzed texts a part of the work was also dedicated to discussion of the theoretical assumptions of epistolography and autobiography, as well as ways of recognizing the mother - daughter relationship in feminist studies.
Tematem pracy jest przedstawienie roli matki w wybranych utworach Poświatowskiej i Plath. Ze względu na charakter analizowanych tekstów część pracy została również poświęcona omówieniu teoretycznych założeń autobiografii oraz epistolografii, jak również sposobom ujmowania relacji matka – córka w badaniach feministycznych.
