Distribution and habitat preferences of Galeopsis angustifolia (Ehrh.) Hoffm. and G. ladanum L. in Poland

Rodzaj Galeopsis jest reprezentowany w Polsce przez 7 gatunków, przy czym 6 z nich tj. G. angustifolia, G. bifida, G. ladanum, G. pubescens, G. speciosa, G. tetrahit to trwałe składniki naszej flory, a jeden – G. segetum – posiada status efemerofita. Tak rozmieszczenie jak i preferencje siedliskowe dwóch zbliżonych do siebie pod względem morfologicznym gatunków tj. G. ladanum i G. angustifolia są na terenie naszego kraju słabo poznane. W Atlasie rozmieszczenie roślin naczyniowych w Polsce zostały one potraktowane jako agregat, a ich rozmieszczenie przedstawione zostało na jednej, zbiorczej mapie. W latach 2009-2012 przeprowadzono rewizję materiałów zielnikowych G. ladanum i G. angustifolia zdeponowanych w 14 polskich zielnikach i 2 kolekcjach prywatnych. Badania te przyniosły dane na temat rozmieszczenia obu gatunków, jak również informacje na temat siedlisk zajmowanych przez te gatunki. Rozmieszczenie obu gatunków przedstawione zostało przy użyciu metody kartogramu w sieci ATPOL. G. angustifolia to gatunek, który najczęściej występuje na terenach kolejowych, natomiast G. ladanum jest przede wszystkim składnikiem zbiorowisk segetalnych. Autorka opracowania przedstawia również dyskusję na temat statusu obu gatunków we florze Polski.

The genus Galeopsis is represented in Poland by 7 species – 6 of them i.e., G. angustifolia, G. bifida, G. ladanum, G. pubescens, G. speciosa and G. tetrahit are established components of the Polish flora, whereas G. segetum is an ephemerophyte. Distribution and habitat preferences of the two morphologically similar species – G. ladanum and G. angustifolia are still poorly known in Poland. In the Distribution Atlas of Vascular Plants in Poland they were treated as an aggregate and their distribution was presented in one, cumulative map. The revision of herbarium materials representing G. ladanum and G. angustifolia deposited in the fourteen herbaria and two private collections was carried out in 2009-2012. My study gathers data on the distribution both of the species as well as the information concerning habitats occupied by them. The distribution of the species is shown using ATPOL grid square system. G. angustifolia is a species occurring mostly in railway areas, whereas G. ladanum is very often a component of segetal communities. The discussion concerning the status of G. ladanum and G. angustifolia in the Polish flora is also included.
