Differences between member states and their impact on integration effects in North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

Celem pracy jest analiza efektów integracji Północnoamerykańskiego Układu o Wolnym Handlu w kontekście dużych różnic występujących pomiędzy państwami członkowskimi, czyli Stanami Zjednoczonymi, Kanadą oraz Meksykiem. Praca magisterska jest podzielona na trzy główne bloki tematyczne oraz podrozdziały. Pierwszy rozdział przedstawia genezę Północnoamerykańskiego Układu o Wolnym Handlu, negocjacje nad umową oraz proces ratyfikacji, a w dalszej części kluczowe postanowienia porozumienia. Drugi rozdział poświęcony jest podstawowym informacjom o każdym z krajów i różnicom pomiędzy państwami. Trzeci rozdział opisuje najważniejsze kontrowersje i spory, jakie powstały wokół NAFTA. Wreszcie, dogłębnie ukazane są efekty integracji pomimo występujących różnic oraz pozytywne i negatywne skutki podpisania układu dla każdego z państw, a także dla pozostałych krajów Ameryki.

The main purpose of MA thesis is to analyze the effects of integration of North American Free Trade Agreement in the context of huge differences between member states: United States, Canada and Mexico. This study is divided into three main thematic blocks and smaller sections. First chapter describes the origin of North American Free Trade Agreement, negotiations on this act, ratification process and than key provisions of the agreement. Second chapter contains the most important information about each country and shows differences between them. Third chapter describes important controversies and disputes that have arisen around NAFTA. Finally, it shows effects of integration despite differences, positive and negative results of signing this agreement for each member state as well as for other American countries.
