The Influence of the Oriental Dance on the Spiritual Change of Dancers at the Present - Day, on the Example of Sihir Dance Studio.

Praca podejmuje tematykę tańca orientalnego i jego wpływ na rozwój duchowości współczesnych kobiet. W obecnych czasach obserwujemy kryzys duchowości, który dotyka wszelkich dziedzin życia. W pracy podjęto próbę analizy roli tańca jako sztuki na przestrzeni wieków, ze zwróceniem uwagi na stopniowe obniżenie jego rangi aż do upadku. Przybliżone zostało zjawisko nowej duchowości, w której założenia wpisuje się taniec orientalny. Przedstawiono jego genezę i historię. Omówiono orientalne tańce obrzędowe, zawierające element duchowości. Nakreślono też obraz współczesnego tańca orientalnego znanego jako raqs sharqi. Praca zawiera także opis Studia Tańca Sihir, w którym przeprowadzono własne badania w kulturze. Badania miały na celu określenie jaki wpływ taniec orientalny wywarł na przemianę duchową tancerek. Udowodniły rozwój osobisty kobiet, dla których taniec orientalny jest wyzwoleniem kobiecości, źródłem radości, sprawcą duchowej przemiany.

The thesis deals with the subject of the Oriental dance and its influence on the spiritual development of the modern woman. In our times we can see a crisis of spirituality in all provinces of our life. An attempt has been made to analyze the dance as a field of art during the ages, giving special consideration to its diminishing importance, down to its total decline. The phenomenon of the new spirituality with the Oriental dance as its fitting element has been discussed. Its genesis and history have been presented; Oriental ritual dances with spiritual elements have been discussed.The modern Oriental dance known as raqs sharki has been outlined. The thesis also includes the description of the Sihir Dance School where the author has conducted her own research to define the influence of the Oriental dance on the spiritual change of dancers. Personal development of women for whom the Oriental dance brings the liberalization of femininity and is also the source of joy and the doer of spiritual change was proved.
