European Union and Polish energy policy.

The project illustrates the EU energy policy since the creation of the European Coal and Steel Community until 2011. There are presented characteristics of the EU energy sector and in Poland. It then describes the evolution of energy policy and its present state, indicating the creation of the internal energy market and meeting its demands, such as energy solidarity, raising energy efficiency, energy security and the development of renewable energy sources.This paper presents the Polish energy policy since the transition of the political system. It describes the energy reform in Poland, indicating the formation of the electricity and gas and presents problems that Polish energy sector must cope with now and in the future. Moreover, the project discusses the co-operation of the RP with the Union in the field.

W pracy ukazano politykę energetyczną Unii Europejskiej począwszy od powstania Europejskiej Wspólnoty Węgla i Stali aż do roku 2011. Przedstawiono charakterystykę sektorów energetycznych w UE i w Polsce. Następnie opisano ewolucję polityki energetycznej oraz jej stan dzisiejszy, ze wskazaniem na tworzenie wewnętrznego rynku energii i realizacji jej postulatów takich jak solidarności energetyczna, podniesienie efektywności energetycznej, bezpieczeństwo energetycznego oraz rozwój odnawialnych źródeł energii. W pracy tej przedstawiono również polską politykę energetyczną począwszy do transformacji ustrojowej. Opisano reformę energetyki w Polsce ze wskazaniem na tworzenie rynku energii elektrycznej i gazu oraz przedstawiono problemy z jakimi musi radzić sobie polski sektor energetyczny teraz i w przyszłości. Ponadto opisano współdziałanie RP w tej dziedzinie z Unią.
