Yuri Zhivago - a romantic hero?

Celem zaprezentowanej pracy jest wykazanie podobieństw Jurija Żywago do bohatera romantycznego. Analizę zostały poddane cechy, sposób myślenie i zachowania w różnych sytuacjach życiowych.Praca składa się z dwóch rozdziałów:W pierwszym zostało zdefiniowane pojęcie romantyzmu oraz cechy powieści romantycznej. Krótko opisano skąd się wywodzi i kiedy datuje się początek tej epoki w Rosji. Znajdują się również informacje o malarstwie, muzyce i przedstawione zostały etapy rozwoju romantyzmu w Rosji. Wspomniano o kluczowych postaciach takich jak: Wasilij Żukowski, Michaił Lermontow, Aleksander Puszkin. W drugim rozdziale najpierw przedtswiono cechy bohatera romantycznego, a dalej uwaga została poświęcona Jurijowi Żywago. Analizie poddano jego życie oraz relacje jakie zbudował z Tonią i Larą. W dalszej części pracy cechy Jurija Żywago zostały porównane z cechami bohatera romantycznego.

The purpose of the presented work is to demonstrate the similarities of Yuri Zhivago to a romantic hero. Traits, thinking and behavior in various life situations are analyzed.The work consists of two chapters:In the first, the concept of Romanticism and the characteristics of the Romantic novel were defined. A brief description is given of where it originated and when the beginning of this era in Russia is dated. There is also information about painting, music and the stages of development of Romanticism in Russia are presented. Key figures such as Vasily Zhukovsky, Mikhail Lermontov and Alexander Pushkin are mentioned. In the second chapter, the characteristics of the Romantic hero were first presented, and further attention was devoted to Yuri Zhivago. His life and the relationships he built with Tonia and Lara were analyzed. In the rest of the work, the qualities of Yuri Zhivago were compared with those of a romantic hero.
