Celem pracy jest przedstawienie roli festiwali w rozwoju turystyki festiwalowej na przykładzie Pol’and’Rock Festival. Do realizacji celu pracy posłużyły studia literaturowe oraz badania ankietowe z uczestnikami Przystanku Woodstock/Pol’and’Rock Festival (1087 respondentów). W rozdziale pierwszym zawarte zostały podstawowe pojęcia z dziedziny festiwali. Rozdział drugi prezentuje historię Pol’and’Rock Festival oraz kwestie organizacyjne. Trzeci rozdział omawia wyniki badań ankietowych, przeprowadzonych wśród uczestników festiwalu.
The aim of the work is to present the role of festivals in the development of festival tourism on the example of Pol’and’Rock Festival. Literature studies and surveys with participants of the Woodstock/Pol’and’Rock Festival (1087 respondents) were used to achieve the aim of the work. The first chapter contains basic concepts in the field of festivals. The second chapter presents the history of Pol’and’Rock Festival and organizational issues. The third chapter discusses the results of surveys conducted among the festival participants.
