Stan zdrowia współczesnej młodzieży na przykładzie uczniów I L O w Krakowie

Opieka zdrowotna nad uczniami sprawowana jest w placówkach oświatowo- wychowawczych przez pielęgniarki i higienistki szkolne. Jest realizowana między innymi poprzez prowadzenie edukacji zdrowotnej i profilaktyki. Bardzo ważną rolę w realizacji profilaktyki odgrywają badania przesiewowe. Celem ich jest wstępne rozpoznanie niezidentyfikowanych dotychczas wad, schorzeń lub zaburzeń, które następnie poparte szczegółowymi badaniami są monitorowane i leczone, zapewniając prawidłowy rozwój dzieci i młodzieży.Celem pracy była ocena stanu zdrowia współczesnej młodzieży na przykładzie uczniów I LO w Krakowie w oparciu o przeprowadzone badania przesiewowe.Praca składa się z trzech części. W pierwszej wyjaśniono podstawowe pojęcia związane ze zdrowiem, profilaktyką i opieką zdrowotną nad młodzieżą uczącą się. Omówiono obowiązujące akty prawne oraz rodzaje i zasady przeprowadzenia testów przesiewowych. Część druga to metodologia badań własnych, która obejmuje cel, problemy, metodyi narzędzia badawcze zastosowane w niniejszej pracy. Przedstawiono w niej także organizację i przebieg badań. W części trzeciej zamieszczono charakterystykę grupy badawczej oraz przedstawiono wyniki badań własnych. Pracę zakończono podsumowaniem i wnioskami. Badanie dowiodło, że , stan zdrowia młodzieży uczącej się w liceum ogólnokształcącym jest niezadawalający. W badanej grupie rozpoznano dużą ilość różnych problemów zdrowotnych. Dołączono także wykaz piśmiennictwa, spis tabel, oraz skrótów zastosowanych w pracy.

Health care is provided for students in educational institutions by nurses and school hygienists. It is executed inter alia by health education and prevention. Screening examination also plays a very important role in the implementation of prophylaxis. Its purpose is the preliminary diagnosis of yet unidentified defects, diseases and disorders, which – supported by detailed tests – are monitored and treated, ensuring the proper development of children and youth. The aim of this study was to assess the health of contemporary youth on the basis of screening examination on the example of the students of the General High School No. 1 in Cracow. The paper consists of three parts. The first part explains the basic concepts of health, prophylaxis and health care provided for the learning youth. It discusses the existing legal acts and types and rules of conducting screening tests. The second part includes methodology of the author’s studies, which is the aim, problems, methods and research tools used in this paper. It also presents the organization and course of tests. The third part includes characteristics of the examined group and presents the results of the author’s studies. The papers ends with the summary and conclusions. The study showed that the health of the students of the high school is not satisfactory. Many different health problems were diagnosed in the examined group. The paper also includes the lists of references, tables and abbreviations.
