Celem niniejszej pracy jest pokazanie zjawiska autokreacji głównych bohaterów Ślubu Witolda Gombrowicza i Hamleta Williama Szekspira. Spróbuję wytłumaczyć, dlaczego główni bohaterowie (Hamlet i Henryk) próbują odgrywać role oraz czy stoją one w sprzeczności z tymi, które przeznaczyło im społeczeństwo.
The aim of my thesis is to show the autocreation phenomenon of the main protagonists in Witold Gombrowicz’s Ślub and William Shakespear’s Hamlet. I will try to explain why the main characters (Hamlet and Henryk) are trying to play their roles and if they are in conflict with the ones which are destined for them because of the society.
