Praca ma na celu analizę polskiego środowiska muzyki techno oraz przedstawienie różnic i podobieństw wartości, i norm między kulturą mainstreamową a subkulturową. Badania zostały przeprowadzone w Krakowie. W pracy przedstawiono historię muzyki techno oraz wydarzeń z nią związanych, zarówno polskich jak i zagranicznych. Skupiono się na wzajemnym wpływie subkultury i mainstreamu muzyki techno.
The aim of this work is to analyze the Polish techno music scene and to present the differences and similarities in values and norms between mainstream culture and subculture. The research was conducted in Kraków. The paper presents the history of techno music and related events, both Polish and international. The focus is on the mutual influence between the techno subculture and the mainstream.
