dc.abstract.enThe article discusses two inscriptions attesting two soldiers recruited from the province of Upper Moesia. The main aim of this survey is to provide an overview of military mobility and to highlight the diversity of practices in the choice of veterans' settlement. Starting from the place of discovery of the inscriptions, the data provide some interesting patterns and demonstrate their complexity.
