Disability benefits in the social insurance system in Poland

Praca dyplomowa została poświęcona świadczeniom rentowym w systemie ubezpieczeń społecznych. Celem podjęcia tematu pracy jest wyjaśnienie znaczenia pojęcia ryzyko inwalidztwa i analiza form ochrony w sytuacji wystąpienia inwalidztwa. Przedmiotem pracy jest zapoznanie czytelnika z rodzajami rent oraz innymi świadczeniami w ramach ubezpieczeń społecznych, zostały dokładnie omówione kryteria niezdolności do pracy oraz zasady nabywania świadczeń. Praca zawiera również ocenę ubezpieczeń rentowych na przestrzeni lat z naciskiem na ilość osób pobierających renty oraz wyniki finansowe.

The thesis was devoted to disability benefits in the social insurance system. The aim of the topic of the thesis is to explain the meaning of the concept of disability risk and to analyze the forms of protection in the event of disability. The subject of the work is to familiarize the reader with the types of annuity and other benefits under social insurance, the criteria of incapacity for work and the rules for acquiring benefits have been thoroughly discussed. The work also includes an assessment of disability insurance over the years with an emphasis on the number of people receiving annuities and financial results.
