The theme of the child in the prose of Fyodor Dostoyevsky

Niniejsza praca jest próbą przedstawienia dziecka jako określonego typu bohatera w twórczości Fiodora Dostojewskiego. Koncentruje się na charakterystyce, wskazaniu cech łączących postacie dzieci w różnych utworach Dostojewskiego. W pracy opisana jest rola dziecięcego bohatera jako elementu kompozycyjnego, nośnika chrześcijańskich wartości oraz idei niezawinionego cierpienia. Pojawia się problematyka postaci posiadających cechy zarówno dziecięce, jak i dorosłe.

The thesis aims to present the child as a particular type of character in the work of Fyodor Dostoyevsky. In the thesis I focus on showing the characteristics and faetures common to children in various works of Fyodor Dostoyevsky. In the thesis I describe the role of the child character as a compositional element which bears christian values and the idea of faultless pain. The issue of characters bearing both children and adult features comes up.
