Primary school in face of changes. An attempt to evaluation the 2017 education reform

Niniejsza praca jest poświęcona reformie szkolnictwa z 2017 roku, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem sytuacji uczniów szkół podstawowych. Pierwsza część rozprawy odnosi się do okoliczności, w jakich doszło do najnowszych zmian. Zawiera charakterystykę porównawczą najważniejszych przeobrażeń polskiej oświaty z ostatniego stulecia, nakreślając rozbieżności i punkty wspólne z ostatnią reformą. W części tej przedstawione zostało stanowisko wielu nauczycieli szkolnych i akademickich na temat zapowiadanych zmian.Druga część zawiera analizę wyników badań przeprowadzonych w 12 szkołach. Wypowiedzi uczniów oraz nauczycieli pozwoliły na wyróżnienie największych trudności w realizacji nowej podstawy programowej oraz zagrożeń wynikających z przekształceń struktury szkolnictwa. Wnioski z badań stały się podstawą dla przygotowania koncepcji generalnej zmiany podstawy programowej w celu jej przystosowania do potrzeb współczesnego ucznia. Trzecia część zawiera także kilka propozycji działań bazujących na założeniach podstawy aktualnie obowiązującej.

The present work is about the 2017 education reform with particular emphasis on the situation of primary school students. The first part of the dissertation refers to the circumstances in which the most recent transformation of education took place. It contains the comparative characteristics of the most important transformations of the Polish education in the last century, outlining differences and common points between the last reform. This part of the work presents the position of many school and academic teachers regarding the announced changes. The second part of the present work is an analysis of the results of research carried out in 12 schools. The statements of students and teachers have highlighted the greatest difficulties in implementing the new core cirriculum and the threads arising from the transformation of the school structure. The research conclusions became the basis for the concept of a general change in the core curriculum in order to adapt it to the needs of the current student. The third part of this dissertation also contains several proposals for activities based on the assumptions of the currently applicable core curriculum.
