Manifestations and conditions of the phenomenon of bullying among high school Students

Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. Pierwszy rozdział obejmuje analizę literatury przedmiotu, w którym dokonałam wyjaśnień terminologicznych: podstawowego pojęcia, jakim jest mobbing, a także wyrazów bliskoznacznych, takich jak agresja i bullying, ponadto, przedstawiłam zagadnienie z punktu widzenia systemu prawnego, scharakteryzowałam młodzież w wieku gimnazjalnym oraz specyfikę zjawiska mobbingu, podstawowe informacje dotyczące zagadnienia, opisałam jego przejawy, bio-psycho-społeczne uwarunkowania oraz skutki występowania, ponadto zwróciłam uwagę na profilaktykę w zakresie mobbingu. Drugi rozdział zawiera opis metodologii badań własnych, przeprowadzonych w Gimnazjum nr 23 w Krakowie. Badaniami objęłam grupę 143 uczniów klas pierwszych i trzecich szkoły gimnazjalnej, 8 wychowawców tych klas oraz pedagoga i psychologa szkolnego. W toku prowadzonych badań zastosowałam następujące metody: ankietę wraz ze skalowaniem, wywiad oraz analizę dokumentów. W rozdziale trzecim dokonałam analizy wyników badań. Zwróciłam tu uwagę na przejawy mobbingu występujące wśród młodzieży gimnazjalnej, ich nasilenie, skutki występowania, uwarunkowania związane z: cechami psycho-fizycznymi uczniów, ich środowiskiem rodzinnym, szkolnym, oddziaływaniem grupy rówieśniczej, środowiskiem lokalnym oraz wpływem mediów na występowanie mobbingu. W ostatniej części rozdziału trzeciego skoncentrowałam się wokół możliwości profilaktyki w zakresie mobbingu uczniowskiego. Rozdział IV zawiera uogólnienia i wnioski z badań.

The work consists of four chapters.The first chapter includes an analysis of the literature, in which he made the clarification of terminology: the basic concept, which is bullying, as well as the thesaurus, such as aggression and bullying, in addition, I introduced the issue from the perspective of the legal system, characterized the middle school adolescents and the specificity of the phenomenon of bullying , basic information about the issues I described his symptoms, bio-psycho-social determinants and consequences of occurrence, also drew attention to the prevention of bullying.The second chapter describes the methodology of its own, carried out at School Number 23 in Krakow. The study embraced a group of 143 students in grades one and three middle school, eight teachers of these classes, and teacher and school psychologist. In the course of the study used the following methods: a survey, together with scaling, interviews and analysis of documents.The third chapter has analyzed the survey results. Here I paid attention to the signs of bullying occurring among high school students, their severity, the effects of the occurrence, determinants related to: the psycho-physical characteristics of students, their family environment, school, peer group influence, the local environment and the impact of media on the occurrence of bullying. The last part of the third chapter, focused around the possibility of prevention of bullying student.Chapter IV contains the generalizations and conclusions of the study.
