A blog-style website dedicated to the work of a film director. Using the example of Wong Kar-wai

Praca licencjacka Aleksandry Niechaj dotyczy stworzenia bloga internetowego poświęconego twórczości reżysera Wong Kar-Waia. Celem projektu było opracowanie funkcjonalnej, estetycznej i intuicyjnej strony internetowej, która pełni rolę przestrzeni do publikowania recenzji, analiz i interpretacji filmów reżysera oraz umożliwia użytkownikom interakcję – komentowanie, dodawanie własnych wpisów i budowanie społeczności.Autorka opisała kontekst artystyczny twórczości Wong Kar-Waia, wskazując na jego charakterystyczny styl filmowy: poetykę obrazu, nielinearną narrację oraz tematykę samotności i pamięci. Projekt strony został opracowany z zastosowaniem podejścia zorientowanego na użytkownika (User-Centered Design), a sam serwis stworzono przy użyciu HTML, CSS, PHP i MySQL. Aplikacja zawiera moduły logowania, publikacji wpisów, komentowania oraz panel administracyjny.W podsumowaniu wskazano możliwe kierunki dalszego rozwoju serwisu, m.in rozbudowę funkcji społecznościowych czy integrację z zewnętrznymi bazami danych filmowych. Projekt łączy wiedzę technologiczną z pasją do kina artystycznego, tworząc narzędzie zarówno informacyjne, jak i społecznościowe.

Aleksandra Niechaj's bachelor's thesis concerns the creation of an internet blog devoted to the work of director Wong Kar-Wai. The aim of the project was to develop a functional, aesthetic and intuitive website that acts as a space for publishing reviews, analyses and interpretations of the director's films and allows users to interact - comment, add their own entries and build a community.The author described the artistic context of Wong Kar-Wai's work, pointing out his characteristic film style: poetics of image, non-linear narrative and the themes of loneliness and memory. The design of the website was developed using a user-centered approach (User-Centered Design), and the service itself was created using HTML, CSS, PHP and MySQL. The application contains modules for logging in, publishing entries, commenting and an administration panel.The summary indicates possible directions for further development of the service, including the expansion of social functions or integration with external film databases. The project combines technological knowledge with a passion for artistic cinema, creating both an informational and social tool.
