The state and directions of the development of accommodation in Czestochowa

Celem niniejszej pracy było określenie obecnego stanu oraz kierunków rozwoju bazy noclegowej w Częstochowie. W tym celu posłużono się kwerendą biblioteczna oraz autorskim kwestionariuszem ankiety, skierowanym do właścicieli/menadżerów obiektów noclegowych na terenie miasta Częstochowa. W metodologicznej części pracy zostały szczegółowo omówione wybrane metody badawcze. Zawarte zostały również: cele, hipotezy oraz obszar badań. Przeprowadzona ankieta dostarczyła informacji dotyczących obecnej sytuacji w obiektach noclegowych oraz planowanych inwestycji w najbliższych latach. Wstęp do badań stanowiła analiza uwarunkować historycznych oraz ich wpływ na obecną sytuację. W rozdziałach praktycznych dokonano analizy danych pochodzących z różnych źródeł, dotyczących ilościowej oraz jakościowej charakterystyki obiektów noclegowych. Określono również perspektywy rozwoju omawianej bazy. Do tego celu wykorzystano analizę SWOT oraz dane uzyskane z przeprowadzonej ankiety. We wnioskach zweryfikowano poprawność hipotez badawczych, w wyniku czego dwie z nich uległy przekształceniu.

The aim of this work was to determine the current state and the way of development of accommodation in the town of Częstochowa. Therefore, a library query was used and an original questionnaire was sent to the owners and managers of accommodation facilities in Częstochowa. The methodological part of the work discussed the matter of selected research methods. The objectives, hypotheses, and research areas were included as well. The survey provided information on the present situation with accommodation facilities and investments planned in the near future. The introduction to the research was the analysis of historical conditions and their impact on the current situation. The practical chapters analyzed data from various sources on both the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of accommodation. The development prospects of the discussed base were also defined in this work. A SWOT analysis, as well as the data from the survey were used. The conclusions verified the correctitude of the research hypotheses, resulting in transforming two of them.
