Praca rozpoczyna się definicją pojęcia Nestbeschmutzer, ponieważ jest ono kluczowe ze względu na treść całej pracy. Dramat Heldenplatz Thomasa Bernharda ukazuje się jako idealny przedmiot analizy pod kątem krytyki kraju ojczystego. Poddany analizie został język, którym posługuje się Bernhard. Wybrane aspekty zostały omówione w głównej części pracy, mianowicie inwektywy skierowane do Austriaków, ironia i sarkazm jako elementy mowy agresywnej oraz powtórzenia w tekście dramatu. Podejmuje się także próby interpretacji treści utworu w kontekście historycznym, kulturowym i społecznym. Praca kończy się podsumowaniem wyników analizy dramatu pod kątem językowym oraz wnioskiem, że Bernhard podpada pod określenie Nestbeschmutzer.

The thesis starts with an introduction of what a Nestbeschmutzer is, since the term is crucial in terms of the whole concept of this paper. Thomas Bernhard’s play Heldenplatz proves itself to be a perfect object for analysis with respect to criticism of his home country. It was the language which was analysed in the first place. The chosen aspects of it were described in the main body, namely the invectives towards Austrians, irony and sarcasm as elements of the playwright’s aggressive language and the repetitive constructions in the play. An interpretation of Heldenplatz as a whole also has been conducted, with respect to historical, cultural and social aspects. The thesis ends with a short summary of what was discovered after the analysis.

In dem vorliegenden Text wird zuerst der Begriff Nestbeschmutzer dargestellt, da er maßgebend für die ganze Arbeit ist. Das Drama Heldenplatz von Thomas Bernhard erweist sich als perfektes Objekt einer Analyse, was die Kritik an eigenem Land anbelangt. Der Analyse wurde die bernhardsche kritische Sprache unterzogen. Im Hauptteil wurden die ausgewählten Aspekte dieser Sprache genauer betrachtet, und zwar die Invektiven gegen Österreicher, Ironie und Sarkasmus als Elemente der aggressiven Sprache und die Wiederholungen. Es wurde auch der Versuch unternommen, den Inhalt des Dramas unter den geschichtlichen, kulturellen und gesellschaftlichen Aspekten zu interpretieren. Die Arbeit endet mit den Schlussbemerkungen zum Thema. Es wird u. A. beschlossen, dass Bernhard unter den Begriff Nestbeschmutzer fällt.
