Praca skupia się na przedstawieniu roli Pierwszej Damy w czasie trwania III Rzeczpospolitej, czyli od 1989 roku. Składa się z sześciu rozdziałów. W rozdziałach od pierwszego do piątego przedstawiono sylwetki pięciu polskich prezydentowych, poświęcając każdej osobny rozdział. W ostatnim rozdziale opisano i scharakteryzowano funkcję Pierwszej Damy i jej postrzeganie, jednocześnie porównując odbiór tej funkcji w innych państwach niż Polska. Praca ma na celu zwrócenie uwagi na postać Pierwszej Damy oraz przybliżenie obrazu jej działalności.
The work focuses on presenting the role of the First Lady during the Third Republic of Poland, that is, from 1989. It consists of six chapters. The chapters from the first to the fifth present the silhouettes of five polish First Ladies, devoting each chapter to each. The last chapter describes and characterizes the First Lady's function and its perception, while comparing the reception of this function in countries other than Poland. The work aims to draw attention to the figure of the First Lady and to bring the picture of her activity closer.
