The end of history and the new beginning. Culture in the geopolitical ideology of Alexander Dugin.

Praca dotyczy geopolitycznej, eurazjatyckiej ideologii Aleksandra Dugina, a zwłaszcza jej kulturowych aspektów. Dugin jest rosyjskim uczonym i ideologiem, dyrektorem Centrum Badań Konserwatywnych Uniwersytetu Moskiewskiego. Promuje on wartości tradycjonalistyczne w duchu Juliusa Evoli i Rene Guenona, natomiast z politycznego punktu widzenia jest zwolennikiem tradycyjnego, autarkicznego państwa imperialnego opartego o ideologię bizantynizmu. Dugin uważa, że obecnie następuje ostateczny upadek sakralnego wymiaru rzeczywistości, a winnymi tego procesu są Zachód (USA) i kultura postmodernistyczna. Rosja powinna, jego zdaniem, odrodzić swą mesjanistyczną rolę katechonu, zbudować świat wielobiegunowy i nie dopuścić do zwycięstwa idei elgalitarnej w skali globalnej (tzw. Stanów Zjednoczonych Świata). Praca omawia również podłoże religijne ideologii Dugina.

The aim of this work is to collect, understand and sum up Alexander Dugin's views on modern day culture, politics and the Russian role within. Dugin maintains that Russia should refute liberal democracy imposed on it after the cold war and collapse of Soviet Union. Otherwise, if Russia will not be back to own history and historical, imperial mission, it is doomed – it will turn into a part of New World Order led by the United States. That will also mean defeat of Russian culture and the end of history, or, in other words, historical triumph of the universal and homogeneous state. The aim of Dugin's ideology is to cease egalitarian ideology and to rethink all values, firstly in Russia than elsewhere. If in global culture main value is human being and they rights, in Russia the main value should become Russian race (along with other races). While global culture unifies people, Russian culture should share them. Firm foundations for Russian nation, and Russian culture, should be the Orthodox Church.
