The analysis of different views on the relationship between humans and other species (the so-called domestic animals or pets)

Celem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej jest przyjrzenie się relacji człowieka z pozaludzkimi istotami, zwanymi zwierzętami domowymi, oraz jej komparacja z rożnymi typami kontaktów międzyludzkich. Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. W pierwszym zestawiono relację człowieka z pozaludzkimi zwierzętami z relacją pan-niewolnik. Rozdział drugi to zestawienie z relacją pracodawca-pracujący. W rozdziale trzecim dokonano zestawienia z relacją rodzic-dziecko, by w rozdziale czwartym przyjrzeć się analogii wobec relacji przyjaciel-przyjaciel.Praca pomaga dostrzec niezwykły wymiar związku między człowiekiem a zwierzętami innych gatunków.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is scoping the relationship between a human being on the one hand and non-human beings called domestic animals on the other hand as well as conducting the comparison with various types of interpersonal relations.The dissertation consists of four chapters. The first chapter contains the comparison of the relationship between human being and nonhuman animals on one hand and the relationship between the master and the slave on the other hand. The second chapter features a juxtaposition with the employer-employee relationship. In chapter three, a comparison with the parent-child relationship is conducted for the purpose of considering the analogy to the friend-friend relationship in chapter four.The work helps to spot the extraordinary dimension of the relationship between humans on the one hand and animals of other species on the other hand.
