Witnesses of the siege - wartime Leningrad through the eyes of poets (V. Inbier, O. Bergholc, A. Gorodnitsky)

Niniejsza rozprawa, poświęcona została charakterystyce twórczości poetyckiej trojga rosyjskich autorów – Wiery Inbier, Olgi Bergholc i Aleksandra Gorodnickiego, będących naocznymi świadkami blokady Leningradu z lat 1941-1944, oraz interpretacja wybranych utworów z uwzględnieniem ich osadzenia na tle wydarzeń historycznych . Autorka pracy wykazuje różnice w postrzeganiu wojennej rzeczywistości przez badanych twórców, wynikające z występujących między nimi różnic pokoleniowych, a także odmienności ich osobistych doświadczeń związanych z blokadą i samym miastem. Pierwsza część pracy, poświęcona została historii oblężenia, co pozwoliło w trakcie dalszych rozważań na lepsze zrozumienie treści omawianych utworów. Wskazane zostały czynniki, które doprowadziły do tego, iż Leningrad i jego mieszkańcy znaleźli się w kleszczach blokady. Autorka opisała pokrótce działania wojenne podejmowane na Froncie Leningradzkim - obok omówienia sytuacji na froncie, przedstawiona została atmosfera panująca w Leningradzie i na jego przedmieściach. W pracy została podjęta także kwestia historii powstania Drogi Życia i jej roli w ratowaniu mieszkańców oblężonej metropolii.W rozdziale drugim, znalazła się wspomniana wcześniej analiza utworów literackich, odnoszących się do okresu blokady, z naświetleniem cech charakterystycznych w twórczości każdego z poetów. W podsumowaniu, autorka przedstawiła rozbieżności, odnalezione między poszczególnymi wierszami oraz ich przyczyny, poparte istotnymi elementami biografii trojga pisarzy.

This dissertation is devoted to the characterization of the poetic works of three Russian authors - Vera Inbier, Olga Bergholc and Alexander Gorodnitsky, who were eyewitnesses of the siege of Leningrad in 1941-1944, and to the interpretation of selected works taking into account their setting against the background of historical events . The author of the work shows the differences in the perception of the war reality by the examined authors, resulting from the generational differences between them, as well as the differences in their personal experiences related to the siege and the city itself.The first part of the study was devoted to the history of the siege, which allowed for a better understanding of the content of the discussed works during further considerations. The factors that led to Leningrad and its inhabitants finding themselves in the grip of the siege were also presented in this paragraph. The author briefly described the warfare undertaken on the Leningrad Front - besides discussing the situation on the front, the atmosphere prevailing in Leningrad and its suburbs was also depicted. The work deals with the history of the creation of the Way of Life and its role in saving the inhabitants of the besieged metropolis.The second chapter contains the aforementioned analysis of literary works relating to the period of the siege, highlighting the characteristic features in the work of each poet. In conclusion, the author presented the differences found between individual poems and their reasons, supported by significant elements of the three writers' biographies.
