W pracy omówiono funkcjonowanie jednostek samorządu terytorialnego z perspektywy komunikacji z mieszkańcami za pomocą stron internetowych. Pierwszy rozdział stanowi bazę teoretyczną dalszych rozważań. Przedstawiono w nim problematykę funkcjonowania samorządu terytorialnego z punktu widzenia prawa oraz zarządzania jednostkami samorządu. Autor pracy sprawdza czy strony internetowe miast zawierają odpowiednie informacje, a przez to czy są sprawnymi kanałami komunikacyjnymi.
