The phenomenon of democratization of the political system of the Russian Federation in the context of the Samuel Huntington's third wave of democratization

Poniższa praca poświęcona jest politologicznej analizie procesu demokratyzacji w Federacji Rosyjskiej od czasów „pieriestrojki” M. Gorbaczowa do dziś.Problem badawczy został sformułowany w formie pytania o naturę zjawiska demokratyzacji w Federacji Rosyjskiej pod koniec XX wieku i stopniowego odwrotu od demokracji od początku XXI wieku w kontekście S. Huntingtona. „Trzecia fala”.Za cel pracy uznano określenie przebiegu zjawiska demokratyzacji systemu politycznego w Rosyjsji po 1985 r. .W pracy skupiono się na teoretycznym wyjaśnieniu procesu demokratyzacji oraz analizie zmian ustrojowych Rosji na drodze do demokracji we wspomnianym okresie.Autor wykorzystał klasyczne metody nauk społecznych: decyzyjne, systemowe i porównawcze.

The following work is devoted to the politilogical analysis of the democratization process in the Russian Federation, starting from M. Gorbachev's "perestroika" to the present day.The research problem was formulated in the form of a question about the nature of the phenomenon of democratization in the Russian Federation at the end of the 20th century and a gradual retreat from democracy from the beginning of the 21st century in the context of S. Huntington's "Third Wave".The aim of the work was to define the course of the democratization of the political system in Russia after 1985.The work focuses on the theoretical explanation of the process of democratization and the analysis of changes in the political system of Russia on the way to democracy in the above-mentioned period.Author had used classical methods for the social sciences : decision-making, systemic and comparative.
