The role of the Bank Arbiter in counteracting illicit practices in the banking market

Celem pracy było przedstawienie oraz opisanie roli Arbitra bankowego w przeciwdziałaniu stosowania niedozwolonych praktyk rynkowych przez instytucje finansowe. Ukazane zostały instytucje zajmujące się pozasądowym rozstrzyganiem sporów oraz uregulowania prawne w Unii Europejskiej dotyczące tego zagadnienia. Opisane zostały również sposoby ochrony konsumenta na rynku bankowym, a także działania Arbitra bankowego w tym zakresie. Badania przeprowadzone zostały przy zastosowaniu różnych metod i technik z wykorzystaniem koncepcji triangulacji metod.

The purpose of the Master thesis was to present and describe the role of the Bank Arbitration in counteracting the use of unlawful market practices by financial institutions. There were also presented the institutions dealing with out-of-court dispute resolution and legal regulations in the European Union. There were also described the methods of consumer protection in the banking market, as well as the activities of the Arbitrator. The research was carried out using various methods and techniques using the concept of triangulation methods.
