Niniejsza rozprawa magisterska traktuje o tłumaczeniu pisemnym w Unii Europejskiej. Głównie skupimy się na historii tłumaczeń pisemnych w tej instytucji, ale również na tendencjach obecnych na przestrzeni ostatnich lat. Następnie, spróbujemy porównać oraz przeanalizować tłumaczenia na język polski niektórych aktów prawnych Unii Europejskiej i poznamy główne trudności oraz prawdy na temat tłumaczenia. Wreszcie, poznamy główne różnice między niektórymi narzędziami CAT, którymi dysponują tłumacze unijni oraz tłumacze pracujący na rynku krajowym.
This master thesis focuses on the translation in the European Union. Our main interest will be the history of translation in this institution and the tendencies in translation, which were present in the last years. Then, we will try to compare and analyse the translations of some legal acts of European Union and will examine the major difficulties and truths about translation. Finally, we will observe the main differences between CAT tools that use the translators from EU and those used by translators working on their national market.
Le présent mémoire porte sur la traduction dans l’Union européenne. Nous nous intéresserons en particulier à l’histoire de la traduction dans cette institution et aux tendances dans la traduction, présentes au cours des dernières années. Ensuite, nous essayerons de comparer et analyser les traductions vers le polonais de quelques actes juridiques de l’UE, et connaître les difficultés et les vérités sur la traduction. Enfin, nous pourrons apprendre les majeures différences entre les outils d’aide à la traduction dont disposent les traducteurs de l’Union européenne et ceux travaillant sur le marché national.
